Visitor Information

Overlooking St Abbs Harbour in the Scottish Borders, the Visitor Centre is the perfect place to begin your exploration of the stunning Berwickshire coastline and surrounding countryside. Below is some information to help you plan your visit, please contact us if you require any further information.

Admission to the Centre is free but donations are gratefully received.

          Opening times

  • March 13th to October 2017 open 10am to 5pm every day.

  • The Centre is accessible by 9 stone steps with handrails on either side. A wheelchair ramp is available upon request from Centre staff, please call ahead to arrange. The Centre itself is all on one level and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet.There is 1 Blue Badge parking bay located approximately 10m from the entrance steps across the road.

    How To Find Us

    By Car: St Abbs is approximately 4 miles from the A1, take the turn-off signposted St Abbs and follow signs to the village. For satnavs enter postcode TD14 5PL.

    By Bus: St Abbs is served by the Perryman’s 235 bus ‘Berwick – St Abbs’, the bus timetable can be found by clicking here. From Edinburgh, the Perryman’s 253 stops at Coldingham, the bus timetable can be found by clicking here.

    By Train: The closest mainline station is Berwick-Upon-Tweed approximately 14 miles away. Take a taxi from the station or the number 235 bus to St Abbs.

    By Air: Edinburgh Airport in Scotland is approximately 60 miles away or Newcastle International Airport in England is approximately 75 miles away.
