MUSICAL INTERPRETATION OF BLACK FRIDAY

It will soon be the anniversary of the Great Fishing Disaster – Black Friday. It is 137 years since the fishing boats from the Berwickshire coast went out to sea on 14th October 1881. Many did not return. We have a presentation by Eyemouth High School pupils and the electric voice theatre which tells the story of the storm in song and music, interpreted from the meteorological data of that day.
